Alright, I originally wasn't going to post this - or even finish it to be honest, because this is one of two entries for :icondeeman45:'s Storm Clouds fanart contest - unfortunately, I started on a background for this shot, but I decided to ditch that difficult effort in favor of using easy gradients (am I a lazy boy or what?).
The character depicted is supposed to be :icondeeman45:'s Storm Clouds protagonist: Dan, a boy who was taken from our world and into the realm of the Kanto region in the Pokemon universe along with his best friend's sister, Missy - who has been turned into a silver Eevee. To this, Dan is utterly oblivious and searches for the human he knows as Missy - when unbeknownst to him she is traveling with him day and night, wishing she could somehow communicate with him...

In other news: School ends next week and HOLYCRAPGRADNITEATDISNEYLANDTHEBEACHSIXFLAGSHOLLYWOODANDOMGSOAWESOME :iconexcitedplz:

Personally, I actually consider both of them to be protagonists in their own right, in different ways. Both of them get exponential 'screen-time', and both grow as people - albeit in different ways during the story. I have to admit, though, I lean SLIGHTLY more towards Missy as the hero of the story, however. The story is really HER moral journey, and while Dan still goes through some crap and some stunning epiphanies, it's Missy who has to endure being stuck in a form she hates; also, she's directly responsible for the defeats of the story's most potent enemies, sometimes entirely on her own. Dan is still a protagonist, but he's certainly not THE protagonist.

But I think this is a well-draw depiction of one of the most heart-stopping scenes in the story. Good work.
